TL;DR: Part-time role for ambitious accounting tutors who want to shape the future of education. UK/European curriculum expertise required. Build your personal brand, lead global university partnerships, and influence how the next generation learns accounting.
About the Role
This isn't your typical tutoring gig. We're reimagining accounting education for the AI age, and we need tutors who see teaching as a platform for impact, not just a side hustle.
You'll deliver weekly, digestible tuition classes that make complex accounting concepts click. But you'll also be our bridge to academia—understanding how students actually use our AI-powered platform, shaping our product based on real learning patterns, and building strategic partnerships with universities across the globe.
Think of this as your launchpad: gain exposure to cutting-edge edtech, build your personal brand as a thought leader, and open doors to global academic networks. This role is designed for tutors who are hungry to do more than just teach—you want to innovate, connect, and grow.
Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly online tuition sessions to the team.
- Be our domain expert: Use the platform extensively, identify friction points, and provide insights on how students learn best in an AI-first environment.
- Lead university partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with accounting programs globally. Represent Taxxa at academic events, webinars, and conferences.
- Shape our content strategy: Work with our product team to develop learning materials, practice scenarios, and AI-assisted study tools.
- Build your brand: Create thought leadership content (blogs, videos, webinars) that positions you as an authority in modern accounting education.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of UK/European accounting curriculum: You can teach ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or equivalent qualifications with confidence.
- Excellent command of English: You communicate complex ideas with clarity and charisma. Written and verbal fluency is non-negotiable.
- Teaching experience: You've tutored or taught accounting before and know how to make dry material come alive.
- Ambitious and growth-oriented: You see this as more than a part-time job—it's a stepping stone to bigger opportunities in edtech, consulting, or academia.
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable using AI tools, online platforms, and modern teaching technologies.
- Network builder: You enjoy connecting with people, building relationships, and representing a brand you believe in.
