ACD
Accounting production software for French accounting firms (i-Suite Expert)
Overview
Connect ACD so Taxxa can read your clients' dossiers directly from your firm's i-Suite Expert: accounting, fiscal years and documents in the dossiers you publish. One connection covers all of the firm's dossiers, and you link each dossier to its client company in Taxxa. This is an office connection: people who can manage office access, a permission a workspace admin gives, connect it. Everyone else can use it only with access to its clients, given per client or to all clients on the Office access page.
What Taxxa can access
- The dossiers your API collaborator can open, with their company details, staff and contacts.
- The accounting of published dossiers: fiscal years, journals, entries and balances.
- GED documents, if your firm set up the classification plan and gave the collaborator GED rights.
- Each request is pinned to the dossier of the client the chat is about. ACD sees every request as the API collaborator, and Taxxa records which member made it.
- Taxxa can also prepare changes where ACD allows them. By default it asks you to approve each change before it is sent to ACD. You can change this per connector in Taxxa.
Before you connect
- i-Suite Expert enabled for your firm, with Suite Expert and its web services up to date, and reachable over public HTTPS.
- An ACD administrator who can create collaborators and publish dossiers.
- A dedicated, fictitious API collaborator for Taxxa, not a person's login. ACD recommends one per software vendor, and your firm can reserve API access to such users with the #ACD_API# role.
- The office access permission in Taxxa, given by a workspace admin. Only office access managers can connect ACD.
How to connect
- In ACD, open Aide > Infrastructure ACD and copy the full API URL, for example https://isuite.example.com/cnx/api.
- Open Généralités > Collaborateurs and create a collaborator dedicated to Taxxa. Give it access to i-Suite and to the dossiers Taxxa may read, and the #ACD_API# role if your firm uses it. Check that État actuel shows Sécurité correcte.
- In Comptabilité Expert, open i-Suite Expert > Gestion du partage, turn on accounting sharing and validate. Taxxa reads accounting only in published dossiers.
- In Taxxa, open Connectors and select ACD. Select Connect, enter the API URL, the collaborator's login and its password, and select Connect.
- Choose which ACD dossiers belong to which client companies in Taxxa, then save.
- In Taxxa, open the Office access page from Connectors and give members access per client or to all clients: Read for the read actions and synced data, or Read & write for every action. People who can manage office access have full access. A write action still follows each member's own approval setting: Taxxa asks before each change unless that member chose to allow changes without asking.
- To give access to many clients at once, select Edit next to a member on the Office access page, filter the clients, for example by connector, select all matching clients, choose Read or Read & write, and save.
Where to find your details
- API base URL
- Your firm's full API URL from Aide > Infrastructure ACD, with https:// and the complete path, without a trailing slash. Copy it exactly, including its letter case.
- Collaborator login
- The login of the dedicated API collaborator created for Taxxa under Généralités > Collaborateurs. Do not use a person's own login.
- Password
- The password of the same collaborator. Keep it safe like any password: with the login, it opens every dossier the collaborator can reach.
Troubleshooting
- Taxxa cannot reach your ACD server.
- Check the API URL against Aide > Infrastructure ACD and that your i-Suite server accepts HTTPS from the internet. A firewall or an IP allow list can block Taxxa even when the URL works on your computer.
- ACD refuses the login.
- Check the collaborator's login and password, that État actuel shows Sécurité correcte, and that the collaborator has i-Suite access. If needed, use Réattribuer le mot de passe Dia Client.
- A dossier is missing, or Taxxa cannot read its accounting.
- Give the collaborator access to the dossier, and publish the dossier under i-Suite Expert > Gestion du partage.
- A member cannot use ACD in Taxxa.
- Someone who can manage office access must give the member access to that client, or to all clients, on the Office access page.
Disconnect
Disconnect ACD in Taxxa under Connectors. To stop all access in ACD as well, deactivate the API collaborator under Généralités > Collaborateurs or change its password.
