About the Role
You will be responsible for the "brain" of Taxxa. You will build Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that allow our AI agents to interact with external tools, accounting software, and government APIs safely and reliably. This role sits at the intersection of systems engineering and AI.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain MCP servers for various integrations (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Netvisor, Vero).
- Work with Open API specifications to generate type-safe client libraries and tool definitions.
- Optimize context windows and retrieval strategies for AI agents.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization flows for agentic tools.
Requirements
- Strong TypeScript experience is non-negotiable.
- Deep understanding of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agentic architectures.
- Experience with Open API (Swagger) specs and code generation.
- Background in backend engineering or API design.
