TL;DR: We're looking for a force-multiplier PM who treats AI like a superpower. You'll own features end-to-end, automate ruthlessly (Playwright, MCP, Claude), and ship with velocity. Finance/ERP background highly valued.
About the Role
This isn't a traditional PM role. At Taxxa, we're building the AI-native accounting platform that accountants didn't know they needed—until they see it. We move fast, ship daily, and use AI to do the work of 10 people.
You'll be the connective tissue between our engineering team, customers, and stakeholders. You define what we build, orchestrate releases with precision, and ensure every feature lands with impact. You're organized to the point of obsession, technically fluent, and treat automation as your secret weapon.
If you have a background in finance—especially ERP systems, accounting software, or fintech—you'll immediately understand the workflows we're disrupting and the pain points we're solving.
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap: Define features, prioritize ruthlessly, and translate customer pain into elegant solutions.
- Architect the release pipeline: Structure releases like a seasoned engineer, ensure smooth deployments, and coordinate stakeholder communication before every launch.
- Be the QA champion: Test features exhaustively, automate testing workflows with Playwright, and catch edge cases before users do.
- Automate like it's your job (because it is): Use Claude, MCP servers, and custom scripts to generate feature specs, automate repetitive tasks, and compress timelines.
- Bridge technical and business: Translate complex accounting requirements into crisp engineering tickets and translate technical constraints into stakeholder-friendly language.
- Close the feedback loop: Monitor feature adoption, gather user insights, and iterate with data-driven conviction.
Requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills: You can juggle multiple releases, coordinate cross-functional teams, and never drop a ball.
- Technical fluency: You can read code, understand system architecture, and hold your own in engineering discussions.
- AI-native mindset: You're already using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools daily. You know how to write prompts, chain tools (MCP), and automate workflows.
- Testing expertise: Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks is a major plus.
- Finance background highly valued: Prior experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics), accounting platforms (Xero, QuickBooks, Netvisor), or fintech products will make you incredibly effective from day one.
- Startup velocity: You thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities shift, ambiguity is normal, and shipping beats perfection.
- Ownership mentality: You don't wait for direction—you see what needs to be done and make it happen.
Why This Role is Different
Most PMs write specs by hand, wait for QA to test, and coordinate releases with spreadsheets. You'll automate spec generation with Claude, build Playwright test suites that run in CI/CD, and use MCP servers to orchestrate stakeholder notifications. You'll 10x your output while maintaining quality. If you're the kind of person who gets excited about compressing cycle times and maximizing leverage through AI, this role will feel like coming home.
