Tripletex

Connect Tripletex so Taxxa can read a client's books directly from Tripletex. You can then ask questions about the ledger, invoices, customers and suppliers in Taxxa without exporting reports. You connect with an API user key («API-brukernøkkel») that you create in Tripletex.

• The general ledger: vouchers with all their postings, accounts and VAT codes.
• Customers, suppliers, customer invoices, supplier invoices and orders.
• Projects, departments, products and other registers the key has access to.
• Taxxa only sees the modules the key has access to («tilganger»). A key never has more access than the Tripletex user it was created on.
• Taxxa can also prepare changes, such as an order or a ledger posting. By default it asks you to approve each change before it is sent to Tripletex. You can change this per connector in Taxxa.

• The «Integrasjoner» (API 2.0) add-on in Tripletex. It needs the Smart package or higher, and an account or user administrator activates it under «Selskap > Mitt abonnement». Depending on your package it can add a monthly fee.
• User administrator rights in Tripletex. Only user administrators see the «API-tilgang» (API access) tab.
• A Tripletex user with access to the data Taxxa should read. The key gets at most that user's access.

1. 1In Tripletex, open the user the key should belong to: yourself via the profile picture at the top right and «Min profil», or another user under «Lønn > Ansatte» (Payroll > Employees).
2. 2Open the «API-tilgang» (API access) tab and click «Ny nøkkel» (New key).
3. 3In «Applikasjon», choose Taxxa if it is listed. If not, tick «Tilpasset oppsett» (Custom setup), enter TaxxaAI in «Applikasjonsnavn» exactly as written, and choose the access the key gets.
4. 4Give the key a name in «Gi nøkkelen et navn», for example Taxxa, and click «Opprett nøkkel» (Create key). Copy the key: Tripletex shows it only once.
5. 5In Taxxa, open Connectors, choose the client company and select Tripletex. Select Connect.
6. 6Paste the key into Employee Token, leave Proxy Company ID at 0, and select Connect.

Employee Token

The API user key («API-brukernøkkel») you create in Tripletex: open the user («Min profil» or «Lønn > Ansatte»), choose the «API-tilgang» tab, click «Ny nøkkel», pick Taxxa in «Applikasjon» (or tick «Tilpasset oppsett» and enter TaxxaAI as «Applikasjonsnavn»), then click «Opprett nøkkel». Tripletex shows the key only once, so paste it straight in here.

Proxy Company ID

Leave this at 0. It means the company the key was created in.

Tripletex says «The application could not be found» when you create the key.

The application name in «Applikasjonsnavn» must match exactly, including upper and lower case. Enter TaxxaAI, or choose Taxxa in the «Applikasjon» list if it is there.

You do not see the «API-tilgang» tab.

Only user administrators see this tab, and the «Integrasjoner» add-on must be active. An account or user administrator activates it under «Selskap > Mitt abonnement».

Taxxa cannot read some data, or Tripletex reports missing access.

Open the «API-tilgang» tab on the user the key belongs to and click the application name in the «Nøkkel» column to see and switch on its access. The key cannot get more access than that user has, so give the user more access or create the key on a user who already has it.

You lost the key, or the connection stopped working.

In the «API-tilgang» tab, click «Gjenopprett nøkkel» to get a new key. The old key stops working at once. Then reconnect Tripletex in Taxxa with the new key.

In Tripletex, open the user the key belongs to, go to the «API-tilgang» tab, click Taxxa's application name in the «Nøkkel» column and switch off its access. You can also disconnect Tripletex in Taxxa under Connectors.
