The EPCC LES QUINCONCES & L’ESPAL, Scène Nationale du Mans, concluded an "ACCORD D’ENTREPRISE D’AMÉNAGEMENT ET ORGANISATION DU TRAVAIL", done at Le Mans on 6 July 2026Legifrance ("Fait au MANS, le 06 juillet 2026"), signed for the EPCC by the director and for the CSE by its titular delegates. It replaces the collective agreements and practices of the former régie personnalisée, challenged by right when staff and assets moved to the EPCC on 1 July 2021, and supplements the Convention Collective des Entreprises Artistiques et Culturelles in a single text. It runs for an indefinite period and takes effect on 1 September 2026Legifrance after filing.

It covers all staff except the public-law director, on either site or wherever the EPCC operates, at 35 hours a weekLegifrance annualised over 1 September to 31 August.

Daily rest is eleven consecutive hours, reducible to nine for technical staff on rehearsals and set-up, security, company and audience hosting, artistic staff in rehearsal or performance, evening duty, show-scouting travel, and other categories by agreement during workload peaks. Hourly staff get one unenhanced recovery hour per missed hour between the ninth and eleventh, or unenhanced pay under one-month contracts; day-counted staff recover through scheduling. Weekly rest is at least one day including Sunday; Sunday work is capped at twenty per period, extendable by agreement, earning equivalent extra rest beyond one consecutive month of presence. Night hours from 1:00 to 7:00 carry 15%.

On-call, for maintenance, security, building-technical and artist-team hosting roles plus management, pays a flat EUR 30 gross for twelve hours, EUR 50 for twenty-four hours and EUR 125 for forty-eight hours. Interventions with travel are paid at actual time with a three-and-a-half-hour minimum. No more than ten 12/24-hour plus three 48-hour on-calls per period apply without written agreementLegifrance; rosters go out three weeks ahead absent imperative need.

Annual leave is five weeks plus one day, or thirty-one working days, with the acquisition year aligned to the working-time year from 1 September 2026Legifrance and leave usable in the acquisition year until 31 December of the following year; no splitting supplement applies outside 1 May to 31 October, while leave accrued before 31 August 2026 may be taken until 31 December 2028.

Annualised hours total 1,582 hours including the solidarity dayLegifrance, with a weekly range of zero to forty-eight hours capped at forty-six on average over twelve weeks, a ten-hour daily maximum extendable to twelve for touring, festival, pre-premiere production or set work, and a three-and-a-half-hour minimum call-in, reduced to two hours for workshop leaders, front-of-house, bar and cleaning staff. Overtime beyond 1,582 hours carries a 25% uplift for the first eighty hours and 50% for the next fifty within the 130-hour annual quota, 50% plus full compensatory rest beyond quota. Part-time top-up hours are capped at one third of contractual time, uplifted 10% then 25%.

A 203-day package including the solidarity day, up to 235 by agreement with 10% on extra days, applies to autonomous cadres and group 1–4 staff whose hours cannot be presetLegifrance, with monitoring, half-yearly interviews and CSE reporting. Telework is capped at one full day every other week per monthLegifrance, extendable to one day a week for homes over one hour or fifty kilometres away, with equipment provided and a flat allowance within the annual Urssaf scale, quoted at EUR 3.30 per day in 2026.

Legal basis: the rules rest on the Accord d'entreprise d'aménagement et organisation du travail de l'EPCC Les Quinconces & L'Espal, concluded under article L. 2232-23-1 and applying articles L. 3131-1, L. 3131-2 and L. 5213-6 of the code du travail.

If you work at, manage or advise Les Quinconces & L Espal, apply the new working-time agreement (annualisation, on-call, day packages, telework) from 1 September 2026.
