The bonus sits on top of an already graduated scale. Night shifts are credited with multipliers from 1.2 for ordinary nights to 2.1 for nights adjoining a public holiday; weekend and holiday day work earns 1.1 on ordinary Saturdays up to 2.0 on public holidays, with day-rate bonuses also applying to the daytime part of night shifts worked on those days. Part-night shifts ending by midnight or starting from 4 a.m. earn night bonuses on the night portion of at least fifteen minutes, with shifts starting from 4 a.m. earning a further 100% on night hours plus a one-hour minimum. Unplanned exceptional shifts earn an extra 50%, as does weekend work outside the agent's cycle — the latter to the exclusion of any other bonus.
Like the existing bonuses, the secours-mode supplement is compensated either as compensatory rest or as an allowance.Legifrance Compensatory rest is compulsory for a share of night, Sunday and holiday bonuses equal to 10% of hours worked, capped at 31 hours a year in rest form with the balance as hourly recovery; exceptional-shift bonuses are always taken as hourly recovery. The allowance becomes compulsory where compensatory rest would average more than 3 hours a week, at the hourly rate set by the decree of 19 October 1990.
The measure is the amendment adding the secours-mode paragraph to Article 1 of the arrêté du 7 avril 2003 applying article 1er of décret n° 2000-815 to Météo-France, which governs compensation for minimum-guarantee derogations and programmed working-time constraints.
Flag secours-mode hours separately in time records so the 20%/30% supplement is applied.
