Labour Inspectorate publishes mediator fee-claim form
The VDI listed a new form for mediators claiming fees and travel costs; the underlying procedure pays mediation hours, preparation and public-transport travel from 1 November 2026.

From the state budget, mediators are paid for mediation itself, for preparation for mediation in a single collective labour dispute over interests, and for public-transport travel to and from the mediation session — excluding taxi and ride-hailing costs.E TAR Fees are computed from the preparation and mediation hours stated in the application: 0.0073 of the statutory official-salary base amount per mediation hour, 0.008 of the base amount for preparation in one dispute, and travel costs at 100 per cent of actual expense. If the base amount changes, the amount in force during the service period stated in the application applies.
The mediator completes the application form — Annex 1 to the procedure, published in the VDI website's "Formos" section — no later than 5 working days after the mediation session protocol is drawn up, attaching a digital copy of the protocol stating the mediation hours and the travel tickets or, for electronic-ticket transport, the single-ticket purchase receipt. The completed application goes to Mindaugo g. 12, LT-03225 Vilnius, by post, by email to [email protected] as a digital copy of the signed form, in person at the VDI administration or a territorial division, or through the E. pristatymo sistema to the VDI official box. The VDI finance unit asks the mediator to cure any defects within 5 working days of registration, computes the amount due on a compliant application, fills in the statement (Annex 2) and forwards it to the Nacionalinis bendrųjų funkcijų centras for payment within 15 working days of registration. Funds go to the account the mediator indicates at a credit or other payment institution registered in Lithuania. Mediators who submit false or untrue data in the application face liability under Lithuanian law.

Mediators who provided mediation services complete the application published in the Forms section of the VDI website and file it with the VDI with attachments no later than 5 working days after the session protocol is drawn up.
