Saipem SA, Saipem Offshore France SA and three unions (CFE-CGC, CFDT, FO-UCI) signed amendment no. 1 on 29 September 2026Legifrance extending the 20 December 2024 commuting-subsidy accord to the whole UES Saipem France from 1 October 2026
Legifrance. The extension follows the February 2026 split that moved the ABSER and WIND activities into Saipem Offshore France SA, leaving ENCAR in Saipem SA
Legifrance, and the 29 May 2026 recognition of the UES between the two companies
Legifrance: transferred staff keep the same collective benefits so the social status stays harmonised.
From 1 October 2026, the transport-subscription and bike-rental accord covers all employees of both UES companies, subject to its eligibility conditionsLegifrance — all contract types without seniority requirement, plus interns, excluding holders of a company car except a closed group hired before 18 June 2024. All references to Saipem SA in the accord become references to the UES where their nature allows; all other terms are unchanged. The extension does not apply automatically to any company joining the UES later: a further amendment or accord is required.
The underlying accord goes well beyond the statutory 50% reimbursement of home-to-work public-transport and public bike-rental subscriptions (articles L3261-2 and R3261-1 of the Code du travail): subscriptions up to 4,000 euros a year including tax are reimbursed at 100%, and above that at 70% with a 4,000-euro floor. Covered passes are unlimited multimodal, annual, monthly, weekly or tacit-renewal SNCF and public-network subscriptions, limited RATP/SNCF/IDF passes, and public bike-rental subscriptions, at second-class fares for the fastest home-to-work route, on proof via the HR system and monthly payroll refundLegifrance. Part-time staff at or above half-time are covered like full-timers, below half-time pro rata; internships of one month or more are refunded at 100%.
The amendment runs indefinitely like the base accord, revisable or denounceable under its terms and the law. Filing goes to the Nanterre prud'hommes registry and the Labour Ministry tele-procedure platform, with copies to each representative union and notice on the companies' intranet.
Legal basis: Code du travail, articles L3261-2, R3261-1, R3261-5 and L2231-5; accord Saipem du 20 décembre 2024 relatif aux modalités de prise en charge des frais d'abonnement aux transports en commun ou de location de vélo (ACCOTEXT000051005126); avenant n° 1 du 29 septembre 2026 (ACCOTEXT000054963225).
Honour the extended commuting accord for all UES employees from 1 October 2026, applying the 100%-up-to-€4,000 scale and collecting subscription proof through the HR system.
