Nav ends Altinn 2 roles on 1 December 2026

Employers that access Nav's employer services through Altinn must check their access before 1 December 2026NAV. Nav has published a new page stating that Altinn 2 roles are discontinued for Nav's servicesNAVNAV on 1 December, and that anyone whose access runs solely through an Altinn 2 role must obtain new access before that dateNAV. Most users of Nav's services need to do nothingNAV, but the exception matters: access held only through a discontinued role stops working when the roles are removedNAV.

Access held through a single service (enkelttjeneste) or an access package (tilgangspakke) is retained.NAV Only access that runs exclusively through an Altinn 2 role requires actionNAV, and the new page carries a table mapping each discontinued role to the Nav services that use itNAV so employers can see whether they are affected.

The largest mapping concerns the Lønn- og personalmedarbeider role. It covers income reports for parental benefit and pregnancy benefit, for care, training and attendance allowances plus reimbursement claims for attendance allowance, income reports for sick pay, reimbursement claims for sick pay in the employer period, the settlement report for employer refunds from Nav (formerly K27), tiltaksrefusjon, deduction settlements from Nav (formerly T14), deduction events feedback (formerly T12), recruitment cases and CVs from Nav, dialogue on sick pay, injury reports for occupational accidents and diseases, job postings on arbeidsplassen.no, and applications for National Insurance Scheme membership or choice-of-law clarification. Employers filing any of these through that role alone must arrange replacement accessNAV.

The remaining mappings are narrower. The Helse-, sosial- og velferdstjenester role covers the business IA cooperation, the business's certified sick-leave statistics and agreements on work training. The Regnskapsmedarbeider role covers viewing the child-eyewear-support payment report. The Utfyller/innsender role covers job postings on arbeidsplassen.no. The Post/arkiv role covers ordinary post from Nav to the business, and the Taushetsbelagt post role covers confidential post from Nav to the business.

Nav's companion Tilgang til Navs tjenester page now carries a teaser pointing employers to the discontinuation page to check whether they are affected, and both pages show an updated date of 26 October 2026. Payroll staff, payroll administrators and their advisers whose Nav access depends on one of the listed Altinn 2 roles should secure a single-service or access-package delegation before the December deadline.
