For screening, institutions that check clients and transactions against sanctions lists, including kredītiestādes and licensed payment and electronic-money institutions, treat a match resting only on one of these three entries as no longer a true match and record that assessment, with its date and basis, in the screening audit record. Where funds or economic resources were frozen on the basis of one of these three listings, the implementing rules require that they be released immediately once the international sanctions are liftedLikumi, with the registers concerned deleting the restriction marks and ending the freeze enforcement. After 24 October 2026 no freeze attaches to these three entries under the 1267/1989/2253 list
