Ilmoitin.fi will support checking and sending tax-year 2026 income tax returns for personal businesses using forms 2, 2Y, 2C, 5, 6A and 7KVero in its release scheduled for 22 September 2026
Vero. Vero says both the Ilmoitin.fi website and the ApitamoPKI interface will be unavailable during the version update, approximately 07:00–09:00 that day
Vero.
The release also introduces the next year's prepayment direct transfersVero. Under its heading for 2027 prepayment, Vero lists resident pension recipients' transfers (VKESSELE), non-resident pension recipients' transfers (RVKSSELE), wage withholding information (VKESSPAE), and YEL and MYEL earned-income information (VKTYOSVA). These are the data flows identified for checking and submission in the release notice.
There is a year discrepancy to watch in the VKTYOSVA item: the release notice's individual bullet says 2076, although its section heading says 2027. Vero's separate record-description list identifies the VKTYOSVA version as 2027.
Vero says the direct-transfer example files have been updated. Its Esimerkkiaineistot page lists 2027 examples for VKESSELE, RVKSSELE and VKESSPAE.
A separate operational change has already been made in production: a submitted file can no longer be opened from Ilmoitin's archiveVero. The service remains designed for sending files produced by software in accordance with the record descriptions; it does not provide online forms to fill in.
Ilmoitin also offers a test environment accessible with test credentials. Vero warns that returns sent under the same test credentials are visible in the archive to everyone using those credentialsVero, and says not to use production material in the test environment. That limitation matters when testing the new reporting formats with shared test identities.
The service also allows attachments to software-generated returns and checks whether a return file has the correct format. Authentication and authorisation requirements are set out by data flow on Vero's Tunnistustavat, valtuudet ja edustusoikeudet page. The general service guidance directs users there to check the requirements for submitting their particular returns.
Prepare the listed 2026 business-return formats for the 22 September release and account for the announced Ilmoitin.fi and ApitamoPKI outage at approximately 07:00–09:00.
