What sources does Taxxa search?

Taxxa searches a continuously updated collection of more than one million pages from tax authorities, government publications, legislation and case law across the European jurisdictions it covers. Every response cites the underlying material, so a professional can inspect the rule, its jurisdiction and whether it is current before relying on the result.

Can Taxxa work with a team’s own documents?

Yes. Research can combine the public knowledge base with a team’s own PDF, DOCX, CSV and TXT files in one workspace. That makes it possible to compare a client document with the relevant guidance, trace a conclusion to its source and prepare a draft without losing the evidence that supports it.

Who is Taxxa built for?

Accountants, auditors, tax advisors, payroll specialists, bookkeepers and advisory teams working across European jurisdictions. Shared workspaces keep research available to colleagues, and citations make review easier.

Where is customer data stored, and is it used to train models?

Customer data stays in the European Union and is never used to train language models.

Does Taxxa replace professional judgement?

No. Taxxa is a research and drafting workspace. It helps professionals reach an informed starting point faster; the professional still reviews the evidence and makes the final decision. It does not file returns, post bookkeeping entries or give legal advice.

The EU renewed its Ukraine territorial-integrity sanctions for a further 36 monthsEuropa: Decision 2014/145/CFSP now provides that it applies until 22 September 2029Europa. The renewal was adopted on 22 September 2026Europa by Council Decision (CFSP) 2026/2161Europa, which enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Journal. Its companion act, Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/2160, amends Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 269/2014Europa and is binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.

On the basis of the Council's review, the entries concerning three deceased persons are deleted from the Annex: Yuri Nikolaevich Shvytkin, Ali Reza Tangsiri and Alexander Georgievich LeonovEuropa. The entries concerning four further listings are also deleted from the Annex: Alisher Burkhanovich Usmanov, Mikhail Maratovich Fridman, Andrey Pavlovich Falaleev and Redbird Corporate Services LtdEuropa. With their entries deleted from the Annex, those persons and that entity are no longer subject to the freezing of funds and economic resources under this regime.

Alongside the deletions, the entries concerning 104 individuals and 71 entities are replaced with updated identifying information and statements of reasonsEuropa Europa. The replaced entries include former members of the State Duma who voted in favour of resolution No. 58243-8 on the appeal to recognise the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic, military commanders including former Belarusian Chief of the General Staff Viktor Gulevich and Russian Ground Forces commander Oleg Salyukov, and leading businesspersons such as Petr Aven, Andrey Melnichenko, Dmitry Mazepin, German Khan, Alexey Kuzmichev and Suleyman Kerimov. Screening data keyed to names, dates of birth, functions or reason texts should be refreshed against the new annex entries.

The freeze and the prohibition on making funds or economic resources available continue to apply to everyone who remains listed in Annex IEuropa. The Council's recitals tie the 36-month renewal to the continuation of Russia's illegal actions in violation of the prohibition on the use of force and of international humanitarian law, recalling the European Council conclusions of 18 and 19 June 2026.

These changes were made by Council Decision (CFSP) 2026/2161 amending Decision 2014/145/CFSP, adopted on the basis of Article 29 TEU, and Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/2160 amending Regulation (EU) No 269/2014, adopted on the basis of Article 14(1) and (3) of that Regulation.

Release frozen funds and economic resources of Usmanov, Fridman, Falaleev and Redbird Corporate Services Ltd, and refresh screening lists against the new annex.
