a-melding access cutover: old Altinn roles die 17 November 2026
Old Altinn roles stop working for a-melding on 17 November 2026 — earlier than the previously announced January 2027. Filers need an access package or delegated single-service access by then.

From 17 November 2026 it is no longer possible to submit a-melding using the old Altinn roles.Skatteetaten Skatteetaten has updated its a-melding service pages — direct delivery without a payroll system, the two simplified a-melding variants and the access-package overview page — with a reminder to check access now; the reconciliation-information page instead drops its previous access reminder together with the old Altinn-role list, and points to Altinn access management for access questions. Anyone who files a-melding must hold the correct access package (tilgangspakke) for the service, or have been delegated access to a single service (enkelttjeneste).

The access packages that confer access depend on the service. Each a-ordning service lists which access packages apply: A-melding from a payroll system, without a payroll system, direct delivery, the simplified return for charitable or non-profit organisations, and reconciliation information each list A-ordningen, Ansvarlig revisor, Regnskapsfører lønn, Regnskapsfører med signeringsrettighet, Regnskapsfører uten signeringsrettighet and Revisormedarbeider; for the simplified return for paid domestic work the Arbeidsliv package additionally confers access. For Norskregistrert utenlandsk foretak (NUF) it will in addition be possible to submit forms with the entity-register role Kontaktperson NUF.
Single-service access is available for four services: reporting of a-melding (Innrapportering A-melding), reconciliation information for a-melding, the simplified a-melding for charitable or non-profit organisations, and the simplified a-melding for paid domestic work. Access delegated to single services in Altinn II is being removed entirelySkatteetaten, so businesses that previously held such access must delegate fresh access — to a single service or to an access package — as soon as possible to avoid interruption
